Two terrorists of banned terrorist organizations Ansar Gajwatul Hind and Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in an encounter with security forces in Tral area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. The terrorists have been identified as Safat Muzaffar Sofi alias Muawiyah of Ansar Gazwatul Hind and Umar Teli alias Talha of Lashkar, a police official said.

The official said the two were wanted in several terror cases including the killing of a sarpanch in Khonmoh area of ​​Srinagar earlier this year. Both the terrorists had recently made their base in Tral.
