Full statehood will be given at the right time… Home Ministry said in Parliament on Jammu and Kashmir

During the monsoon session in the Rajya Sabha, the Home Ministry said that Jammu and Kashmir will be given full statehood at the right time.This statement was given by Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai on behalf of the ministry.He also presented the figure of Kashmiri Pandits killed in attacks by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.Said that during the year 2022, no Kashmiri Pandit has migrated from the valley.

During the proceedings of the monsoon session, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai in Rajya Sabha said that full statehood will be given to Jammu and Kashmir at the right time.He said that conducting elections in any state is in the hands of the Election Commission.

Presenting the figures of 2020, 2021 and 2022 in the House, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said that the number of Kashmiri Pandits killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir is 1, 4 and 1 respectively.As per the records, no Kashmiri Pandit has gone from Kashmir Valley during the year 2022.The number of Kashmiri Pandits still living in the Valley is 6,514.
