LIVE- Uddhav Thackeray will be live on Facebook in a while, will address the people of Maharashtra

Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and other rebel MLAs who were staying at Le Meridien Hotel in Surat have reached Guwahati (Assam) from Gujarat.

The Assam BJP and the top leadership of the state government are believed to be making arrangements for the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs to stay in Guwahati.

BJP MLAs also reached the airport to welcome him. This is perhaps for the first time that legislators from a western state are being moved to a northeastern state after a rebellion against the party leadership.

After Shinde rebelled against the party and camped in Surat with some fellow MLAs, the Shiv Sena on Tuesday shifted its MLAs to hotels in Mumbai to avoid poaching.

Uddhav Thackeray is interacting live with the public through Facebook. He said that we faced the Corona crisis strongly.

Uddhav Thackeray said that when the crisis of Corona came, then I did not have much experience. I was blessed to be among the top 5 chief ministers of the country in whatever surveys were being conducted then. However, today I have come with other issues, not Corona.

Uddhav Thackeray said that we had visited Ram temple in the past, during that time Eknath Shinde was also with us. After the death of Balasaheb Thackeray, we fought the 2014 elections on our own and achieved success only on the issue of Hindutva. Shiv Sena and Hindutva are two sides of the same coin.

Shivsena cannot exist without Hindutva. I continued to work from the hospital. After 2014, the new Shiv Sena had won the election. With the help of the public, I got a chance to become the CM.

CM Uddhav Thackeray said that once Congress and NCP say that they do not want to see me as CM, then I can agree. This morning Kamal Nath and Sharad Pawar ji called and said that they trust me. But what do I do now? When someone on their own says that they don’t want to see me become CM.

If any one MLA told me that they don’t want to see me become CM. So I am ready to step down as CM. But what was the need to go to Surat for this? To say on one hand that he is not betraying Shiv Sena and on the other hand it is not right to do so.

Uddhav Thackeray said that I prepare my resignation. Once those MLAs come and say once that they don’t want to see me become CM. This is not my compulsion. I have seen many such challenges. We have thousands of Shiv Sena workers with us. Today I am not afraid of any challenge. Those who feel that I cannot lead Shiv Sena, then I am ready to leave the post of Shiv Sena chief.

Uddhav Thackeray said that I want only a Shiv Sainik to become the CM. If anyone feels that I am not the CM, then I am ready to leave the post immediately. Just come and meet me once and say. I want to say this to every Shiv Sainik. The love I have received in the last two and a half years has rarely been found.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said that if any MLA wants me not to be CM, then I am ready to take all my belongings from Varsha bungalow (CM’s official residence) to Matoshree.
